Xbox 360 - Hidden Gem- Singularity.

My first review is for a game that flew under the radar as a promotional standpoint. I've gotten to play Singularity on the Xbox360. I personally haven't seen anything about this and i just found out about it yesterday. Singularity ships out June 27 but thanks to an unnamed source I've played this before it hits shelves. This game surprised the hell out of me. First booting up the game the companies Raven, Activision, and Unreal Technology, popped up. These companies have their hands on a lot of great games. The story follows Nathaniel Renko an American Captain in the Special Forces. He's sent to investigate an old Russian military compound that experiment with "E99" or Element 99. In the 1950s the Russians wanted to create weapons that were far superior then that ever seen by any other country. The Russians were petrified of the US Atomic Bomb. Then on a small island off Russia's coast E99 was found and Stalin put everything he had to advancing the abilities of E99. They experimented on people, children, crops, animals, and of course weapons. They created a bomb that was far more powerful the the Atomic Bomb and let it loose on the US east coast. Renko finds a device called the "TMD" or Time Manipulating Device. With the ability to age objects or replenish them he travels throughout the island discovering many secrets about the mineral and about the heads of the program. Although the concept of controlling time and traveling through it has been tried before in other games. I think this game conquers it. It's broken down so that the game feels somewhat realistic and the graphics add to the brilliance of the game. The single player campaign isnt the only great thing about this game though. The multiplayer is incredibly fun. You're put on a team that lets you choose from the monsters that were in the single player or the different types of humans. This game has it all, a truly amazing game.

Singularity 9.5/10
Graphics 9.0
Story 9.5
Replay 9.0
Multiplayer 9.5
Controls 9.5

Loved this game.
